Socotra Nature and Standard Tour 9 days

Day 1:-  Arrival to Sana’a Airport – hotel – old city tour – old market – Museum - hotel:  Arrival to Sana’a   airport at 2,35 we will move to the hotel in the old city In the morning we will go to the museum and then visit the  Suq AL-Milh, Bab AL-Yemen and the old town with its intricately decorated mosques and unique multi-decorated houses. Dinner over in the hotel.

Day 2:- arrival Socotra airport – Ayhaft Canyon – Delisha beach campsite: 

We will move to Sana’a airport to departure make chic off for Socotra flight at 5 am arrival Socotra 7: 30 am. Our way will be to Ayhaft canyon (Ayhaft canyon the collection of the unique flora and flora to observe a large amount of animal and plant species fauna). and we will have our lunch there under the huge trees of tamarind, after lunch we will walk throw the beautiful trees of Socotra and will have description about the use and the name of all plants . The afternoon we will then navigate to Dlisha cost, which consists of pristine white sand, relaxing and swimming both in the sea and in a freshwater lagoon, all with a beautiful mountainous background. There is also the possibility of witnessing a fabulous sunset from Dlisha. Offer night and dinner will be in Dlisha campsite.    

Day 3:- Hadibo – Qalancya – Ditwah lagoon – Qalancya beach – Ditwah campsite:  After witnessing a magnificent sunrise and having an early breakfast we will drive to Hadibo visiting the old market, continue our tour to the west aiming Qalancya to look around this charming and picturesque fishing town with its traditional houses and narrow alleyways. After having lunch in the wadi of Qalancya under palm trees, we then go to the protected area of Ditwah lagoon, enjoy swimming and walking along the beach, in same time as witnessing the sun down sinking in the sea. Dinner and overnight are at the campsite of Ditwah lagoon.

Day 4:- Qalancya – by boat to Shoap beach – Qalancya – Dikssam plateau – Derhur Canyon – camping: In the dawn, we will take a local fishing boat into the sea. Our excursion will incorporate witnessing many Dolphins leaping around the squadrons of Socotra Communions, sea gulls and Grey herons. We will canyon all the way through a magnificent rock faces and clear until we arrive to Shuab Beach The most beautiful sand doyen beach on the island. After enjoying swimming, we drive the boat back to Qalancya. After lunch, we will transfer directly to Dikssam plateau and Shebahon viewpoint this area is renowned for the native Dragoon blood trees (Dracaena Cinnabar), the resin of which is collected, used, and trade by the people of Socotra. Many varied panoramic colors can be seen in this area is also home to the endemic and rare Socotra bunting (estimated at 1,000 Paris). The Shebahon viewpoint gives a fabulous vista to a forest of dragoon blood trees and overlooking to Dirher canyon where we will see unusual yet beautiful rock formations. We will then make our way down to the wadi in the canyon for and an easy-going walk and maybe also to swim in the freshwater pools in the wadi. In addition, the camping will be in the wadi.

Day 5:- Dikssam – Omaq beach – camping : In the morning we will have some walking through the forest of dragoon blood trees later  the cars will take us to wadi derher We will then make our way down to the wadi in the canyon for and an easy-going walk and maybe also to swim in the freshwater pools in the wadi. After lunch, we move to the south where we will meet the Indian Ocean Omaq beach. After enjoying the whole day next to the beach, we will take a brief visit to Digab cave, and we will be back to Omaq beach for camping. Dinner and overnight are camping in Omaq beach.

Day 6:- Zahiq sand dunes – wadi Difarhu – Dedom Cave – Arar beach – camping: After witnessing a magnificent sunrise and having an early breakfast we will drive to the north east of the island. First, we will have a short visit to Digab cave, which overlooks a scattering of traditional villages blow. The cave itself is of interest as there are many stalactites, stalagmites, as  miniature pools of water that have seeped through the rock over time. We will then witness the colossal sand dunes of Hayf and Zahiq villages, which have been push up against the mountainside by the seasonal winds of Socotra. If you are feeling especially fit, you can climb the dunes for view that is truly worth the effort. We carry on our way passing through Difarhu canyon where we can see traditional villages and natural water pools at the bottom of the canyon. The unusual Desert Rose tree clings to many places on the canyon walls,  we continue our way to Arar beach in the way we will stop in  Dedom cave to have our lunch . Afternoon we will have meeting point of fresh water from the mountain and salt water from the sea. Arar is also home to another magnificent sand dune... If you are feeling especially fit, you can climb the dunes for view that is truly worth the effort. In addition, there are some caves to explore at face of the mountain; one of them is full of water Therefore, the remainder of the day is for swimming and exploration of this location and climbing the sand. Dinner and overnight are camping at Arar beach.

Day 7: ArAr beach – Hoq cave – Arar Beach –Erssal beach – ArAr beach camping: From An adventure geared up again, after early breakfast, we will drive to Hog Cave to explore 2, 5 km of underground history. Start hiking up for one hour and half until we arrive at the gate of the cave, one hour and half exploring inside the cave. Walking a long and holds a wealth of Socotri history. Inside we can witness stalactites, stalagmites, and a rim pool. In addition, Ancient writing in the cave walls and appears to be a picture of an old trading ship has been preserve over the ages by a calcite glaze. There is also evidence to suggest that the cave used for ritual purposes by the presence of mysterious. After the cave, we will back to arar beach our camp to have the lunch and than after noon we go for alter. Swim in the Arabian Sea and walk along the same time as witnessing many Craps nests. In Rass Erssal, we will have viewpoint for the meeting point of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean at the end of the Island, by the way we will see fishing local boats and some of the fisher men can be witness with fresh fish.After that going back to .Arar beach where is our camp .

Day 8:- Homhil PA – Dihamry MPA– Snorkeling – Dlisha campsite:   in the morning we drive to the mountains to Homhil protected area the land of Frankincense trees. Visiting Frankincense forest the ancient forest of Arabic gum. Then visit Homhil viewpoint over look the eastern cost and natural water pool. In late afternoon we will drive to the marine protected area of Dihamry (coral reef spot) look under water you will be astonished when you observe the variation of fishes and coral reefs the many marine creatures to be seen whilst swimming /snorkeling include; parrotfish, Moray eel, Rays, Sea urchins, ect. Dinner and overnight are camping at Dlisha campsite

Day 9:- departure from Socotra airport –hotel: we will make our way to Depart from Socotra A/P  to Sana'a A/P and then transfer to Arabia Felix  hotel in the old city 2* Afternoon we will visit   Al saleh greet mosque  and then shopping in the old city At.
